Classroom Action Research

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is an activity undertaken by the prospective teachers or the teachers to conduct research in schools. It begins with the questions about classroom experiences, issues and challenges. Classroom Action Research can be improving the teaching. The steps of creating CAR are (1) identify a question, (2) review the literature,(3) plan a research strategy, (4) collect data, (5) analyze data, (6) take action based on results, (7) share your findings.
1. Identify a question
What is the effect of X on student learning.
2. Review the literature
You need to gather two types of information; background and data.
3. Plan a research strategy
Both qualitative and quantitative methods are appropriate.
4. Collect data
5. Analyze data
Looking for finding with practical significance.
6. Take action based on results
Use your findings to make decision about your teaching strategies.
7. Share your findings
Share with journals, conferences, workshops, website, etc.

There are some types about Classroom Action Research.
1. Kurt Lewin model
Kurt Lewin is the first person who introduce the action research. The main concept to action research are (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, (4) reflecting.
2.Kemmis & Taggart model
Kemmis and Taggart is the development of the main concept from Kurt Lewin model. In this model, observing and acting are in the same time.

The benefits of CAR are :
